Semi-aquatic - Not terrestrial -
The misconception in the hobby is that African Bullfrogs are terrestrial frogs. This misconception leads to poor care that doesn't outright kill the frog, but doesn't provide the frog with a setup that mimics its natural habitat, essentially robbing the frog of natural behaviors and overall well-being. Problems like constipation, laziness, obesity, the frogs may try to burrow and go into brumation do to lack of water. These are examples and aren't limited to these alone.
